If you record information about your workers, contractors or farm visitors (for example, induction sign-ons or task assignments), you are responsible for making sure those people know their information is being recorded in BeefHQ and why. We process that information on your behalf.

BeefHQ works offline. To do this, the app stores a copy of your recent farm data, tasks and account details in your device's local storage, and queues any changes you make offline until you reconnect. You can clear this local copy at any time from Profile & Settings → Offline Data. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your farm, livestock, financial and compliance records are deleted. Some records may be retained where we are required to keep them by law (for example, transaction records for tax purposes), and backups may persist for a short period before being overwritten.
Access to your records is restricted so that you can only see your own data, and data for farms you have been given access to. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it. You can:

BeefHQ is intended for farm businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will change, and material changes will be notified in the app.
